High School Senior: Mr. T

I have known this family since before this young man was even born! I truly can't believe that Mr. T is already a high school senior! I can remember babysitting him when he was a baby. When I look at him now, I just can't believe how fast time has gone. It really makes me realize that my baby, who's already 4, will be all grown up before I know it...life just goes way too fast! Anyways, Mr. T and I had a great time hanging out at their family ranch and taking some senior photos. Much to my amazement, he was the perfect subject and very at ease in front of the camera. As a result, we got some amazing shots that I'm very pleased with!

S Wedding Part 1

I photographed my first wedding on Friday, September 19th, 2008. I have to say that it was the most difficult photography experience I have had to date, and I truly admire those wedding photographers who make it look so easy and end up with such amazing results! Anyways, due to circumstances beyond my control, I am way behind on editing the wedding photos, so I told the bride that I would get a couple pictures up for a little sneak peak. This was a really fun wedding and it was evident that this couple truly loved each other!

My favorite photo from the day! I just love these natural poses!

A favorite of the more traditional type of wedding photo.

Same as above, but sampled in sepia tone.

That's it for now, I hope to get the majority of editing done in the next couple days!

My Friend M

I took these pictures for a friend of mine who never had professional photos done of herself before. This was great practice for shooting an adult rather than a rambunctious child as I'm use to dealing with. M was so easy to work with and willing to do whatever I asked and even had fun doing it! M--if you're reading this, you truly are beautiful and I think these pictures of you are awesome!

I also took some maternity pictures for M's sister at the same time. I really had a great time spending the afternoon with the two of them. Watch for some of the maternity photos in a few days. Can't wait to take pictures of M's nephew hopefully this Sunday!

Little Miss S

I've had the pleasure of photographing Little Miss S for the last 3 years in a row. I met her right before her 1st birthday, and she is now 3 years old! Such a cutie, and such a great little personality. This girl is the queen of making faces that just crack you up! I have enjoyed taking pictures of her and really look forward to seeing her grow up in the years to come!

S Family

We went apple picking with some friends last weekend, and we both had the idea to take pictures of each other's families. We are both focusing on enhancing our photography skills, so it was a great opportunity to get some family portrait experience!

This might be my favorite from the day!

My favorite "unposed" picture.

In black & white.

This waterfall was beautiful, a great find!

Such a fun shot with two fun kids!

A little too "sunny" for my taste, but still a cute picture.

This girl loves the camera, and the camera loves her!

Love these family moments!

That's it for now. All in all, I think it was a successful day of photography. I see things that I would definitely change for next time, and areas I need to work on, but I'm happy with the results all in all!
